Hydrostone® is an innovative permeable paving solution that allows for effective stormwater management by enabling rainwater to naturally filter through the paver surface into the ground. How it works

Hydrostone® acts to mitigate rainwater runoff, the major cause of stormwater problems. Rainwater landing on the surface of the Hydrostone® forms beads which are then broken by the paver’s permeable pores and absorbed into the paver. As the rain intensifies, more water is absorbed with the paver acting like a sponge. After the rain stops, water retained in the Hydrostone® evaporates into the atmosphere. In heavy rain, water flows through the saturated paver into the base layers below.
